One of the signature events for the Bacot McCarty Foundation and a Coast favorite is just a little over a week away.
This fashion show features local boutiques and shops from across the Coast and those wearing the clothes are no ordinary models. They are community leaders and model citizens.
The money raised goes back to help out youth and future Coast leaders with scholarships and opportunities within the foundation.
Bacot McCarty Foundation Director and Founder Todd Trenchard says as a Jackson County based foundation this event really puts them coast wide. “What this event has been able to do is expand our reach into Harrison County unlike anything I’ve ever seen. And you know we are used to the Jolly being in our own backyard so it’s exciting because it is a whole nother group that we can develop relationships for future things that we come up with. So it’s really exciting as you see these things materialize.”
‘Renaissance the Runway’ is set for next Thursday, January 30th at the IP Casino. News 25’s Gabby Easterwood and Taylor Rubach will be models for this fundraiser.
