It’s still muggy in South MS and will continue to be for the rest of the week. Dense Fog Advisories have been issued and will continue into tomorrow morning, and they’ll certainly be issued again tomorrow night.
The pattern we’re seeing that’s lead to the these foggy days will remain largely in place until Thursday.
Even then, when a cold front finally moves into/through the area we’ll only see a few degrees of cooling. Drier air will move into the upper levels, but this won’t do much to keep the clouds away. Basically, we’ll see a small decrease in cloud cover, but will keep isolated shower chances and most of the humidity. That means the cloudy, grey weather will improve slightly by the week’s end, but will come right back for the start of next week. First significant cooling and clearing arrives next Tuesday.
