01/13 – Brantly’s “Warm, Wet and Humid” Monday Afternoon Forecast


A Dense Fog Advisory has been extended until 3:00 p.m. for all of South Mississippi and for the Mississippi Sound. Visibility has been reduced to ¼ of a mile or less in several locations, especially along the coast and near area bays and lakes.

Rain chances will be elevated today at around 70 percent as scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will stream in off the Gulf of Mexico. Increased moisture in the air will also make it feel very damp. Highs will be in the lower 70s.

Rain chances will range between 30 percent and 60 percent through Thursday as temperatures remain well above seasonal. Highs will be in the mid 70s through the end of the work week.
