A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until at least 9:00 a.m. for land areas and until 3:00 p.m. for the Mississippi Sound. Visibility has been reduced to ¼ of a mile or less in several locations, especially along the coast and near area bays and lakes.
Rain chances will be elevated today at around 70 percent as scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms will stream in off the Gulf of Mexico. Increased moisture in the air will also make it feel very damp. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
Rain chances will range between 50 percent and 70 percent through Thursday as temperatures remain well above seasonal. Highs will be in the mid 70s through the end of the work week.
