The Grim Grieper posted 56 saves during his time in AA Biloxi, 22 of those coming in his 2019 All-Star season.

Overall, the right-handed Griep closed out 109 games in four years with the Milwaukee Brewers organization, but never made his way to the Big League club.

Griep was originally an eighth round selection out of Kansas State in the 2015 MLB first player draft.

Other Shuckers players lost to the Rule 5 Draft are right-handed Pitchers Jordan Brink and Michael Peterson, as well as Catcher Bryan Torres.
