On Thanksgiving the average American eats around 3,000 calories and that’s just for dinner, not including drinks and desserts.
This is why it is so important to stay active during the holiday season.
Dawn Roberts, the general manager at Crunch Fitness in D’Iberville, says it is easy to pack on the pounds during the winter months, but you can avoid this by working out for at least 15 minutes per day. “Prioritizing your workout is definitely a must so make sure you pick out that time where you have control over your schedule throughout the day and get your workout in. So, for me it’s going to be in the morning. I work in the service industry so sometimes I have to stay later at night so I know I’m probably not going to work out at night. So, I always have to do it in the morning.”
The Crunch Fitness in D’Iberville and Long Beach offer a free three day pass so you can test them out this holiday season.
