Almost five years after a woman was raped on the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge, a grand jury has cleared the suspect of any wrongdoing.
Aaron McMillian was arrested last year in Utah in connection to the 2014 rape after a DNA sample taken from the victim was matched to McMillian.
After investigators determined McMillian lived in Ocean Springs at the time of the rape, he was extradited back to the Coast.
The District Attorney’s Office confirmed with us today that the Grand Jury returned a ‘no true bill’ in October.
Since the attack in 2014, the activist group ‘Women against Violence Everywhere’ was successful in having cameras installed along the bridge to help prevent future attacks.
