It’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting games of the college football season and that’s translating into lots of bets on the action.
This marks the first time since the DraftKings Scarlet Pearl Sportsbook opened a year ago that they are accepting bets on Saturday’s big LSU-Alabama match-up.
Sportsbook Manager Brad Carpenter says they’ve seen an increase in people placing bets this week ahead of the big match-up, but so far around 60 percent of the bets have been in LSU’s favor.
With two SEC teams with fan bases on and around the Coast, Carpenter says it makes for an exciting game day at the Sportsbook. “Especially when you have two teams with such big fan bases nearby, the atmosphere in the book is going to be great, and the electricity and cheering, and it’s going to be really fun to watch.”
The game kicks off tomorrow at 2:30 in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has won the last eight match-ups against the Tigers.
