On Tuesday night, Jim Hood conceded to Tate Reeves in Mississippi governor’s race.
He said in a statement to supports and media outlets, “The Good Lord has allowed me serve the good people of the state of Mississippi for 24 years and it has been a good run. I guess it was not His will that we continue on as governor. I can tell you that it will be a relief not having the stress of holding political office for all these years. It wont be as big a stress on my family, hopefully I can make a decent living doing something, but I can tell you this — I’m going to do a lot of hunting and that’s going to be my objective here.”
