Three arrested after the seizure of a million dollars’ worth of meth and heroin

Three people are facing felony drug charges following the seizure of more than one million dollars’ worth of meth and heroin in Harrison County.

Agents recovered more than 50 pounds of meth, two pounds of heroin, a .40 caliber glock, and $30,000 from a home on Firetower Road in Pass Christian.

Officials also found more than 60 pounds of meth in a tractor trailer parked at a truck stop on County Farm Road in Long Beach.

The FBI Task Force in Pascagoula, along with Mississippi’s Bureau of Narcotics, and the Harrison County Coastal Narcotics Enforcement team arrested 49-year-old Aaron Whavers of Pass Christian, 64-year-old Gerald Jones of Mobile, and 43-year-old Sharard Collier of Inglewood, California.

Whavers, Jones, and Collier are all charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.



If convicted they face sentences of up to life in federal prison and a fine of up to $10 million.
