The weather will be damp & dreary for a while now that some complicated weather is moving into the area. Cloud cover increased last night as a cold front moved in, and we’ll continue to see showers increasing as it finally passes through tonight. The active weather only continues heading into Wednesday afternoon and night due to an approaching cold front.
THIS FRONT IS IN NO HURRY TO ENTER THE AREA OR LEAVE IT, SO THE RAIN ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE ANYTIME SOON.
In fact, unless it speeds up it could keep the damp & dreary weather around as late as Thursday afternoon.
ONCE IT PASSES THROUGH THOUGH THE CHANGES WILL BE QUICK AND SIGNIFICANT.
Expect highs to fall more than ten degrees from where they’ve been over the last few days, into the low-to-mid 60s. Overnight lows will fall even further, down to the low 40s until the start of the work week. That means nasty weather of the next few days will be worth it as we’ll see nothing but sunshine until the middle of next week.
