‘Cruisin’ the Coast’ festivities in Hancock County

While there was tons of ‘Cruisin’ action all across the Mississippi Gulf Coast this weekend, Cruisers packed Hancock County for a fun time.

Downtown Bay St. Louis was packed with hundreds of ‘Cruisin’ vehicles along with visitors and locals to celebrate classic cars and the community.

Visitors to the Bay also had a chance to visit local businesses and hear music from bands like Gypsy Rose and Pat Murphy and Sippiana Soul on the ‘Cruisin’ stage. Hancock County Tourism Bureau Tourism Director Myrna Green said, “It has put us on the map nationally. I mean, this event has had national recognition and it’s just grown. It’s unique. It’s the place to see and be seen. If you’re a car buff, there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.”
