It’s an exciting day over in the City of Waveland. The city has cut the ribbon on their new town green.
The green space is located next to the Ground Zero Museum on Coleman Avenue.
Mayor Mike Smith said, “Where we are standing at, right now … When I crossed the tracks the day after Katrina, our town was gone. Literally gone. And so, that’s why it’s special. To see the things coming back, at the rate Even with our FEMA challenges that we have, things are coming back.”
