JUST IN: ATT Strike Ends Wednesday Morning

According to Glenn Posey, the local President of CWA 3519, the strike against AT&T came to an end at 3 am this morning.

As we’ve been reporting, local AT&T workers are among those in nine states throughout the region who have been picketing the past four days, asking for the communications giant to implement better labor practices. AT&T heard the call, and both parties reached an agreement this morning at 3 am. Posey says all AT&T workers will be back on the job today, but he wants to specifically thank South Mississippians for the outpouring of support they have shown over the past few days as they’ve picketed in our area.
