The Biloxi Police Department arrested 41-year-old Stephen Eldred Gilbert and 44-year-old Tabatha Genice McKissick of Alabama on warrants for burglary.
Warrants were issued as the result of investigations into storage shed burglaries that occurred on the 12th & 14th of August 2019 in the 2300 block of Pass Road in Biloxi. Evidence obtained during the investigations of these incidents assisted in the identity of both suspects. Both suspects were taken into custody by Gulfport and Biloxi Police Departments after a police pursuit was initiated by Gulfport Police. The pursuit ended on I-10 eastbound just inside the D’Iberville City limits. The suspect vehicle was reported as stolen through the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department.
Both were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. McKissick was held on warrant for burglary with a bond of $25,000.00. Gilbert was held on three warrants for burglary having a total bond of $75,000.00. Bonds were set on the warrants by Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
Gilbert was also held on several felony charges imposed by the Gulfport Police Department in relation to the vehicle pursuit and stolen property recovered during this incident to include stolen firearms.
A hold was placed on Gilbert in relation to burglary warrants issued on him by the Ocean Springs Police Department.
