Formerly a dry campus, Southern Miss is now doing away with that policy on Saturdays as a part of its new fan-friendly game day experience at the Rock.
Cheers to all Golden Eagles fans who are over the age of 21, with USM becoming the first major university in the state of Mississippi to offer alcohol sales to the general public during football games.
Announced yesterday, those sales will include beer and light wine at eight different locations inside MM Roberts Stadium.
This makes Southern Miss one of about 60 universities nationwide taking advantage of the new NCAA rule.
USM won’t make its first alcohol sale until the team’s second home game against UTEP on September 28th.
