#CleartheShelters with Featured Pet Scrat

It’s day five of our weeklong “clear the shelters” drive, and there’s still time for you to help make life better for a local animal looking for a forever home.

Today’s featured pet is Scrat, a 3-year-old neutered lab mix who arrived at the Jackson County Animal Shelter in June as a stray from Gautier.

Scrat is a smart, well-behaved fella who walks well on a leash.

He also knows how to sit at your command!

As you can probably see, Scrat also has a silly side.
