Much wetter today as promised, but slightly drier days are coming. Nothing drier about tonight though. A second round of showers and thunderstorms is pushing in from the north, and the effects will linger into the first part tomorrow as the front stalls out. This is where things start to improve.
BY FRIDAY, RAIN CHANCES FALL BELOW 20%, AND CLOUD COVER WILL BE AT MINIMUM THROUGH SATURDAY.
The afternoon high will cool a couple of degrees and it will be slightly drier, but don’t expect anything more noticeable than that. It will still be hot and humid, but the heat index will now be much more manageable. By the beginning of next week we’ll fall right back into our reliable summertime pattern.
