After more than 170 career games with the Biloxi Shuckers and a short stint at Triple A San Antonio, outfielder Trent Grisham made his Major League debut today for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The former first round pick spent the entire 2018 season in Biloxi and played in another 63 games for the Shuckers this year.
Grisham finished his time in Double A hitting .242 to go along with 24 doubles, five triples, 20 home runs, and 72 RBI.
He then capped off his Shuckers career as a Southern League mid-season All-Star and started in center field for the South Division at MGM Park.
After racking up 13 home runs in 34 games with the Triple A Missions, Grisham went 0-3 this afternoon with an RBI.
He becomes the 30th former Shucker to make his big league debut and the seventh this season.
