Because of things like the NFL draft, mini-camp, OTAs, training camp, and even spring ball in the college ranks, football just feels like a year-round sport.

One of the first three teams up to the mic was the LSU Tigers, coming off an impressive 10-3 season, capped off by a Fiesta Bowl victory.
That 2018 campaign has the expectations around LSU sky high heading into this year, compared to the question marks surrounding the team heading into last year.
Senior quarterback Joe Burrows says it’s actually harder to block out the noise this time, even if it is positive. “It is harder to block out. I’m not going to lie, it is. But you kind of have to or else you get too big for your britches. Cliché saying, sorry, try to avoid those, but so you don’t want to go into the season with too much confidence or too little confidence. You want to just, another cliché saying, sorry, focus on getting better every day.”
Former St. Stanislaus quarterback Myles Brennan has reportedly put on 29 pounds during the off-season and Head Coach Ed Orgeron says he has big plans for Brennan as well.
