The City of Bay St. Louis gets a big check tonight to upgrade landmarks in the area including the 7th Street Park.
Tonight, the Hancock County Community Development Foundation was presented with a check for more than $23,000 from an anonymous donor and pretty soon citizens will be able to enjoy the newly revitalized park.
The entire playground at the 7th Street Park will be ADA compliant including the seating area and swings.
Hancock County Board of Supervisors Vice President Scott Adams says working together to improve the area is an amazing experience. “It feels really good because it takes forever to get things through, get it approved, get it all done, but it’s a really good feeling to see the end product once everything is finished and it’s a really great feeling. It’s been a great experience working with all the city officials.”
