Looking for something creative for your kids to do this summer? If so, you’re in luck.
The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is offering four weeks of camps this summer for six to 14 year-olds.
The main focus this year is not only art education, but environmental science and ecology which is something Education Director Pamela Cevallos says she hopes will allow children to use their creative power for a better purpose. “What we are doing is focusing on art projects that talk about ecology, that talk about our marine environment, and what they can do to protect our Mississippi Gulf Coast. We want kids to know their voice is important, their voice matters, and they can do that through art.”
The four weeks of camps start June 10th. Ages six to nine year-olds are $175 and ages ten to 14 are $250.
