A third teenager is behind bars in connection with a shooting that happened in Jackson County on May 11th that injured another teen.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell says 19-year-old Devin Von Musterman of Gulfport is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with the use of a deadly weapon. Those are the same charges against 18-year-old Clayborn Mitchell and 17-year-old Braden Pavlik who were arrested on May 12th.
Investigators say the 17-year-old victim dropped off the suspects at the St. Andrew’s Clubhouse and as he was leaving, Mitchell told him to turn around and come back. That’s when the suspects jumped out of the bushes and ambushed the car with gunfire.
The victim was shot in the leg and drove himself and two other passengers in the car to the Ocean Springs Hospital.
Musterman is being held at the Jackson County Jail awaiting an initial court appearance.
