Not much change expected with day to day weather over the next several days. This is of course typical for this time of year. Hot and humid conditions will occur with stray showers/t-storms on any given day. Today will be one of those days but we will begin today to slowly transition into a hotter more stagnant regime as the weekend approaches. Wind speeds will elevate especially during maximum heating this afternoon. This is due to a cold front approaching and high pressure to the east.
The front will stall over Louisiana Wednesday but may get close enough to provide a few showers/t-storms over extreme SW Mississippi. Warming temperatures and full sun will make things quite warm for the weekend while wind speeds ease making it more uncomfortable for outdoor activities.
