Remaining hot and humid with a strong breeze this afternoon. This is of course typical for this time of year. Hot and humid conditions will occur with stray showers/t-storms on any given day, but rain chances will be below 10 percent during the day. Not much change expect for the winds dies down through this week, and a front will stall over Louisiana Wednesday but may get close enough to provide a few showers/t-storms just to the northwest of South Mississippi. Warming temperatures and full sun will make things quite warm for the weekend while wind speeds ease making it more uncomfortable for outdoor activities. Heat index values will run in the mid to upper 90s.
