There hasn’t been a drop of rain since Sunday afternoon, but we’re still dealing with river flooding from all we saw over the weekend.
THE WOLF, BILOXI, PASCAGOULA, AND PEARL RIVERS WERE ALL STILL IN FLOOD STAGE AS OF THIS POST, MANY STILL TRENDING UPWARDS.
Homes are starting to be affected, particularly in areas surrounding the Wolf River which will reach its “major” flood stage (15′) by tomorrow morning. Residents in these areas are advised to continue taking steps to protect their life and property, and avoid interacting with standing water…especially while driving.
THANKFULLY WE DON’T HAVE ANY MORE ACTIVE WEATHER TO CONTEND WITH FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK SO THE PROBLEMS WON’T GET WORSE.
Expect sunshine from now until next Monday before we see any cloud cover starting to move in. Rain chances remain low as well, only rising to around 20% by next Monday.
