Job seekers from all over the Gulf Coast arrived at Memorial Hospital for its inaugural Clinical Open House.
The Dr. Seuss themed open house had 20 departments represented including I.C.U., cardiac care, rehabilitation services, and the emergency department. One hundred and thirty-four people pre-registered and many more signed up on location.
All who attended got the chance to tour the hospital, enjoy refreshments, enter in door prizes and giveaways, and meet with the recruitment and leadership team. Employment Services Manager Lynn Bourdin said, “We’re interested in seeing everyone come out who is interested in a job with Memorial. We want to share why we love what we do and why we are excited to be here. So we are really excited to be here and have people come out to our event.”
Organizers say the event was such a success they plan to make it an annual event.
