It may be Good Friday today, but the weather is much better than yesterday’s. The front that brought our stormy evening last night is now well off to East but we’re still seeing a few showers in the area due to some weak low pressure features. Even those won’t last much longer through the night as it moves further away, and we’ll see clear skies before sunup tomorrow.
That means Easter weekend will be cloud free, drier, and initially cooler though it does start warming pretty quickly.
Temperatures will begin tomorrow in the upper 60s and low 70s and will continue to climb into the upper 70s by the start of next week. Cloud cover stays away for quite some time, but that begins building back by the middle of next week and will even bring moderate rain chances. This is all ahead of a stalling frontal boundary, so rain chances aren’t in a hurry to leave.
