The weather may have been a concern for some residents on the Coast, but not to the spring breakers.
Thousands packed Biloxi Beach to celebrate Spring Break, battling the wind and some rain. Music, food, and fun were the themes of the annual event which saw some of its largest crowds. This was the first time the event was four days.
Spring breakers tell News 25 they were here for a good time and that no potential bad weather was going to stop them. Spring breaker Courtney Catchings said, “If it does rain, which I hope it doesn’t, it’s still going to go on. The party is still going to go on rain or not, rain, hail, sleet, snow, it’s still going to go on.”
Spring breaker Derell Tobias said, “Rain is just water. It’s just water. We’re already at the beach. Rain is just water, man.”
The weather didn’t stop the spring concert from selling out.
