Ryan’s “Spring Equinox” Wednesday Night Forecast

0

The Vernal Equinox occurred just before 5 PM today and officially ushered in spring! Today continued yesterday’s trend of nearly perfect South Mississippi days and it only gets better from there. The weather will remain boring and beautiful for the rest of the week with only slight warming each day.

THE MOST EXCITING THING TONIGHT WILL BE A WEAK FRONT SWINGING THROUGH ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE SUNRISE WHICH WILL ONLY BRING DRIER AIR AND A WIND SHIFT.

This means we’ll see northerly winds for tomorrow, but southerly winds begin again Friday and Saturday afternoon as the sea breeze sets up. This will only increase the humidity incrementally ahead of our next active weather system currently slated for Monday. Won’t be much of a system at this point though as only scattered showers and partly sunny skies are expected. This front will cool us off a few degrees and bring back the sun after only a couple of cloudy days.
