Back-up Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and his ‘bike life’ dance appear to be the future at quarterback in New Orleans.
According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, during the NFL Combine, Saints Head Coach Sean Payton was on record saying “I have my guy. His name is Teddy Bridgewater.”
And that loyalty has Bridgewater reportedly passing up an even bigger offer from his hometown team, The Miami Dolphins, to stay in New Orleans as the successor to Drew Brees, who turned 40 in January and just finished up his 18th season in the league.
Bridgewater came over from the Jets in August and joins other notable returners Chris Banjo and Craig Robertson.
