Seniors in Gulfport now have a new place that they can stay healthy and active.
Today was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new exercise room at the Francis Fredrick Senior Center in Gulfport. The room features multiple treadmills, free weights, and much more.
And to make the day even more special, Francis Fredrick, the woman who the building is named after, was at the grand opening. “You will never know what it is like to have the people that you live among admire you and honor you. It is really something. It will make you want to do all you can for the people in your area.”
The workout space will be open Monday through Friday 8 to 5.
