Mississippi State’s Jake Mangum lands third-team All-American honors courtesy of Perfect Game.
The senior outfielder has now appeared on both All-American teams released in 2019. Collegiate Baseball also tabbed Mangum as a first-teamer back in December.
Mangum enters the season as the NCAA’s active leader with 275 career hits and needs 61 more to surpass Jeffrey Rea as State’s all-time leader in hits.
MSU’s leadoff hitter was drafted in the 32nd round by the New York Mets over the summer, but decided to return to Starkville.
