Mardi Gras Museum searching for new location

It’s been years since the Mardi Gras museum in the Magnolia Hotel in Biloxi was open to the public. Since this summer, the museum has been searching for a new location to reopen its doors. This, all because the Magnolia hotel sold, ending the museum’s lease at the historic Biloxi hotel.
Andi Oustalet, the president of the museum, tells News 25 they are eyeballing a new location on Howard Avenue behind MGM park.
This location, allowing for a new and improved museum.
Oustalet says, “We’re looking forward to opening those doors and getting that building done, so it makes sense and becomes a really good museum. So what we really want to do is make sure all of the tourists that come to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in all of these hotels get some information on the Mardi Gras Museum, so they can visit and see what our history is about.”
If you’re interested in donating any items to the museum you can contact Andi Oustalet at 228-234-4950.
