It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum.
Take a stroll through the enormous light display they have set up outside behind the museum that features dozens of creatures and villages. You can also hitch a ride on their train and chug along through their light display.
Kelsey Willis with the museum tells News 25 they’ve been working on this display since October and say it’s worth stopping by. “We really like to bring joy to all the kids and we like their faces, you know, seeing them light up and it’s a lot of good publicity for us as well. They’re just going to see the railroad coming back to life. So, they get to see all the lights and the Christmas spirit that we want to give them.”
Throughout the month of December, they’ll have events to get into the Christmas spirit. On Friday, December 14th you can stop by in your PJs and watch ‘The Polar Express.’ For more information on events you can visit their website at mcmrcm.org. You can enjoy the lights and activities until December 31st.
