The Ole Miss football program’s holiday dinner table is gonna look a little different this year.
One day after hiring their replacement at defensive coordinator, the Rebels are now in the market for a new offensive coordinator.
Phil Longo has accepted the same OC position at the University of North Carolina which was confirmed by the school on Tuesday.
Longo arrived in Oxford in December 2016, prior to cranking off two of the most prolific offensive seasons in Ole Miss history.
Under his watch, the Rebels finished second in the SEC in total offense each of the past two years, averaging more than 500 yards per game in 2018.
