New businesses in downtown Gulfport are getting a warm welcome this afternoon.
The Gulfport Main Street Association is hosting the second 14th Street Block Party.
The free event is this afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in order to celebrate the six new businesses that have joined the 14th Street community over the past two years.
Food and beverages will be available by Tony’s Pizza and Seagrapes Wine Café and music will be provided by Midnight Love. Holly Gibbs with Main Street Association said, “We are going to have one of our newest going to be tenants down here, Boozers Coffee Shop will be here in front of J. Carter, setting up. She is going to offer some items that she is going to have at her new shop on 15th street. Tony’s of course is putting together some items. We have a local dance team that is going to come out and try to raise money and awareness for their trip.”
