An antique fire truck stopped traffic on I-10 in Harrison County this afternoon after crashing into the median barrier.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-10 between the Lorraine-Cowan and Woolmarket exits. Officials say the driver was checked for injuries, but his condition is currently unknown.
Traffic was backed up for about an hour while crews worked to clean up the wreck. Police are still working to find out who owns the privately owned fire truck. The investigation is still ongoing.
