This morning, eighth graders from across South Mississippi had a chance to try their hands at just about any career under the sun during Pathways2Possibilities.

Pathways2Possibilities is an annual interactive career fair hosting thousands of eighth grade students over two days at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Doctors, policeman, firemen, and linemen were just a few of the people on hand to give students a glimpse into their worlds.

Organizers say they are hoping the wide selection of options helps students realize the future is in their hands.

Caroline Eaker was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BA in Journalism. During her time at Georgia Southern, Caroline spent most of her time on the sidelines cheering on the Eagles as a member of the cheerleading squad. She also found her passion for journalism while she interned for WTOC in Savannah, Georgia. Caroline is extremely excited to start her career on the Coast.
