This morning, around 6:30, a motorcyclist was killed on Interstate 10 eastbound near mile marker 23 in Harrison County.
The accident happened when a Toyota Tacoma rear-ended the Harley Davidson and the driver of the Harley was ejected and continued east in the right lane.
When the Harley went into the median, a Ford F-150 that was behind the Toyota attempted to avoid the motorcyclist by going into the left lane, but the front right of the Ford struck the motorcyclist.
The driver of the Toyota and Ford were not injured in the crash. The driver of the Harley was pronounced dead on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
