This Saturday at 7 p.m., the Mississippi Coast Coliseum will take part in bringing in a new era for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
A press conference was held at Harrah’s Gulf Coast to promote the fight card. The card will feature two former UFC fighters. Former UFC straweight, Bec Rawlings makes her bare knuckle return to the squared circle to take on Britain Hart.
Coming off a third round knockout victory in England, former UFC welterweight Christ ‘Lights Out’ Lytle will also make his return.
This card is going to be an event locals on the Gulf Coast will never forget. BKFC President and Founder David Feldmen said, “The buzz in Mississippi has just been phenomenal. People are like ‘are they really having a bareknuckle fight?’ I explain it to them on what we did on June 2nd. The fans are unbelievable. I think that coliseum is going to be rocking Saturday Night.”
Bec Rawlings said, “Like I told someone before, I don’t see it going out of the third round. She’s going to come out hot. I know she is going to come out hot. She’s confident and she thinks she has the skills to beat me but they all have a plan until I punch them in the face.”
Chris Lytle said, “My prediction is it is going to be a great fight. One way or the other, someone is going to get knocked out, or it is going to be a great fight.”
The BKFC is the first organization to promote the first legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889.
