The disturbed weather has moved into the Southeast and won’t be in any hurry to leave in the short-term. A front is slowly moving in from the north which will condense moisture in the area and eventually provide lifting.
THAT MEANS THE WEATHER WE’RE EXPERIENCING AS IT MOVES IN WILL BE THE SAME WE’LL EXPERIENCE FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND AS IT LINGERS.
It won’t last too long though. The sun will start to peak out a bit more as early as Sunday night and the clearing will continue into Monday. At this point we’ll get back to “typical” summer day weather with sunny and hot days and isolated afternoon showers. Temperatures will dip some as slightly cooler air moves in around the middle of next week, but we quickly return to the low 90s as next weekend rolls around.
