Bulldog fans are piling into TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha for the College World Series.
Mississippi State is making their tenth appearance and first since 2013. One Mississippi native is proud to be on the field in his first World Series in what he thought was a surprising run this year. MSU outfielder Tanner Poole said, “I never thought we’d be here and me as a kid coming here, it’s what you dream of. It’s crazy. It’s been a long ride. Start of the year was slow; we never thought we’d even make the regional tournament to be honest. Since the Ole Miss game, we just turned a switch on and we haven’t stopped since.”
The Bulldogs play the Washington Huskies tomorrow night at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
