Someone else that’s decided to sign following his tenth round selection by the Chicago Cubs is Southern Miss third baseman Luke Reynolds.
The news was first reported by Jason Munz of the Hattiesburg American. According to that story, Reynolds also received interest in the third, fifth, and seventh rounds of the 2018 MLB First year player draft.
During his lone season with the Golden Eagles, Reynolds led USM with a batting clip of .389 as well as a .551 on-base percentage. His 65 walks are good for second in the nation and that OBP is also top three.
