School may be out for students at Saucier Elementary, but one teacher is still hard at work inside the school.
As soon as classes were dismissed math teacher Ashley Jensen immediately went to work, turning a blank wall in the school cafeteria into a beautiful work of art. She began by washing the 500 square foot wall then de-glossing it and painting a colorful mural.
Jensen tells News 25 she has put at least 40 hours of work into the café inspired mural and she is excited to see how students will react when school is back in session.
Students will fill the halls of Saucier Elementary again in August.
