A sea of blue and orange flooded the Coliseum floor with the class of 2018 Gulfport High School seniors.
Friends and families packed the stands, cheering on their loved ones walking across the stage. Over 360 students received their diplomas tonight, ready to take on the next chapter of their lives.
Terrance Farrell tells News 25 he’s been waiting for this moment his entire school career. “Long for one, really long, but it’s all worth it. You meet a lot of new people, people that will probably make a difference in your life. It’s pretty good. It’s a lot of different emotions going on right now, excitement for one. This is a new chapter in our lives that we’re entering.”
Farrell says he plans to go to JCJC and then later transfer to the University of Southern Mississippi and major in communication.
