Today was the final day of training for Biloxi fire fighters and Keesler Air Force Fire Rescue.
They used three houses on Forrest Avenue and set them ablaze over the past few days. The two departments used the houses as realistic training scenarios to enhance their life saving skills.
This is the second time this year a house has been donated to the Biloxi Fire Department for a live burn. Deputy Chief of Operations Andrew Mason tells News 25 the chance to practice with real fire is vital to a fireman’s training.
