4/13 – Payton’s Friday Morning Forecast

Today will be another a warm one, but with more cloud cover moving in throughout the day. It will also be breezy out of the southeast with winds between 15-20 mph. As we go into the evening and overnight there is a slight chance of a shower. Going into Saturday not much has changed with regards to the chance for severe weather. The area is still under an ENHANCED RISK for severe weather (level 3 of 5). The main threat will be high winds, isolated tornadoes and flash flooding. There might be a few shower and t-storms Saturday morning, but the best chance for a strong to severe storm will be Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Monitor the weather very closely this weekend. Going into the new week the weather clears out and we warm for much of next week.
