Goodbye Chris Harris, voice of the Shuckers

Tomorrow is the last day on the job for Chris Harris, the voice of the Shuckers since the team came to Biloxi back in 2015.
Harris is a two-time Southern League Broadcaster of the Year, known for calling games over the radio and for handling the team’s media relations department.
Harris was an integral part of shaping the team as they rebranded and made the move to Biloxi. He’ll stay in state, but now he’ll be calling games in Pearl as a part of the Braves organization.
Today, Harris looked back at some of his fondest memories at MGM Park. “The first season, the road trip, the camaraderie that that group had together, the winning the south division title. That first game in MGM Park history, the players, Orlando Arcia, Brett Phillips, him chasing the possum off the field. The walk-offs, Johnny Davis being number one on Sports Center. There’s been so many great people that have come through this clubhouse.”
Harris won’t have to wait long to return to MGM Park. The Mississippi Braves will be in Biloxi April 11th to take on the Shuckers.
