We’ve been warming over the last few days, but an overnight front is going to bring a short-lived round of cooler and drier air. While this afternoon’s high did climb into the mid-60s this afternoon and tonight will rise into the 40s for the first time in several days, this front will lower temperatures by about 5-10 degrees until Thursday. That’s when the moisture will begin to return and temperatures will climb back into the mid-to-upper 60s, but another overnight front will move through and lower temperatures for a few more days all over again. We often talk about the “temperature roller-coaster” in South Mississippi and this week will be a perfect example of that pattern. Neither front is expected to have any active weather, so the weather all week long will remain sunny & mild.
